On the heels of an historic $2.4B infrastructure investment, and that program winding down, the construction industy does not meet this new mayor with fatigue, but rather intrigue and excitment.&nbsp;</p> <p>The newly elected mayor will be tasked with closing out the remaning projects, securing new funding, prioritizing ready to go projects, and refining the procurement, delivery, and construction processes that will influence successful construction projects in the future.&nbsp;</p> <p>The top three candidates have been identified as:&nbsp;</p> <p>Councilmember Helena Moreno, Councilmember Oliver Thomas, and State Senator Royce Duplesis.&nbsp;</p> <p>This conversation will focused entirely and specifically on vertical and horizontal construction within the City of New Orleans, and what plans these candidates have to navigate the City&#39;s improvement investment in the years ahead.There will not be another debate this detailed to our industry.
